The HSE Engineer is responsible for ensuring the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental policies across hotel and resort facilities. The role focuses on maintaining compliance with local regulations and international HSE standards, overseeing risk management, and ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of firefighting and life safety systems.
Ensure full compliance with local safety regulations, civil defense requirements, and international standards (OSHA, NFPA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and safety walks across all hotel facilities and project sites.
Prepare and maintain required HSE documentation, reports, and incident records.
Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of firefighting systems (Fire Alarm, Fire Pumps, Sprinklers, FM200, Clean Agent Systems).
Coordinate with Civil Defense and third-party agencies for system approvals, certification, and compliance audits.
Conduct fire risk assessments and ensure all fire safety measures are implemented effectively.
Lead evacuation drills, fire prevention programs, and emergency response planning.
Review and approve contractor HSE plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
Monitor contractor compliance during construction, renovation, and maintenance work.
Ensure safe execution of high-risk activities (hot works, working at height, confined space entry, lifting operations).
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
12–15 years of HSE experience, preferably in hotels, resorts, hospitality, or large-scale facilities.
Strong knowledge of firefighting systems.
Professional certifications are a strong advantage:
NEBOSH IGC / OSHA / IOSH / NFPA certifications / First Aid & Fire Fighting.
Strong knowledge of emergency response protocols and incident management.
