We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor Engineer with a background in Civil or Architectural Engineering and at least 1 year of professional experience. The successful candidate will assist in cost estimation, contract administration, and project measurement for construction projects, ensuring value for money and adherence to budget and timelines.
Assist in preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents
Support in measuring quantities from drawings and site
Track project costs and ensure budget compliance
Assist in evaluating subcontractor quotations
Support in managing contracts, claims, and variations
Attend site visits and liaise with engineers, architects, and contractors
Update and maintain project cost records and reports
Participate in progress valuations and monthly payment applications
Work closely with senior QS engineers and project managers
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering
1 year of experience in Quantity Surveying or related role
Familiarity with construction drawings, materials, and methods
Basic knowledge of contract types (FIDIC is a plus)
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g. CostX, PlanSwift, or similar)
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Attention to detail and good time management
